Project 1: “Timberline and Altitudinal Gradient Ecology of Himalayas, and Human Use Sustenance in a Warming Climate”, under National Mission of Himalayan Studies (NMHS), Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (Govt. of India); Sub-Project: “Plant diversity and community structure along altitude gradient in three sites of Indian Himalayan region”.

Emoluments: @ Rs 16,000/- for first 2 years and Rs.18,000/- for 3rd year +HRA
Project 2: “National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS) Fellowship Programme supported by the GBPNIHESD
Junior Research Fellow/Junior Project Fellow

Emoluments: @ Rs 25,000/ p.m. + HRA for NET(JRF) qualified candidate, & Rs 16,000/- p.m. +HRA for Non Net- JPF
Qualification (Essential) for either posts : First class Masters degree in Botany/Forestry/Forest Management/Bio- meteorology/Zoology/Wildlife Biology/Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences from a recognized University; Desirable for either posts: Experience in Ecological Modelling, Knowledge of Statistical Softwares, Specialization in Plant Taxonomy/Biodiversity/Forest Ecology
Age limit (for either position) : Maximum 28 years
