Qualification :  B.Sc.(Home Science) atleast with second division. Master’s degree in Home Science with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language, if not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment. However, candidates having passed matric level Punjabi examination at the time of applying/interview will be given preference. Candidates having Master’s degree, NET shall be compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences) rated refereed journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted. Essentiality of NET can be waved off for the candidates holding Ph.D. Degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for exemption. Good Academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks(or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university; ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC,CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET; iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) above candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor of equivalent position in Universities/ Colleges/ Institution. OR The candidates having been awarded Ph.D degree prior to 11.07.2009, the date of notification of UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil /Ph.D degree) Regulations, 2009 or admitted prior to the aforesaid date and awarded Ph.D after the above notification shall also be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor / Guest Faculty provided they fulfill minimum 6 out of 11 criteria recommended by the Thyagrajan Committee and produce a certificate to this effect issued by the office of the Controller Examinations. iv. NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Master’ Programmes in Disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Veterinary Officer/06 Post

Qualification : B.V.Sc. & A.H. from a VCI recognized Institute at least with second division. Must have passed Punjabi at Matric level.

Junior Engineer (Civil)/ 01 Post

Qualification :1. Atleast second class Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized university or Institution. 2. Knowledge of Punjabi upto matric level.

Farm Manager at KVK / 01 Post

Qualification : 1. B.Sc. (Agri.)/Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology from recognized University/Institute. 2. Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric standard.

Programme Assistant (Computer) at KVK/ 01 Post

Qualification : i) B.Sc. (Computer Application)/Bachelor in Computer Application/B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT)/ PG Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized university. ii) Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric standard.

Fodder Manager/ 01 Post

Qualification : 1. B.Sc. (Agriculture). 2. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric standard.

Computer Assistant/ 01 Post

Qualification :1. Graduation in Computer Science or Graduation with Maths/Statistics/ Economics/Commerce/Computer applications with atleast 60% marks. and 2. Master degree in Computer Science/Economics/Maths/Commerce/Statistics with minimum 60% marks from recognized university. and 3. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level (compulsory). and 4. PG diploma in computer application (for candidates with Master's degree other than Computer).

Stock Assistant/ Livestock Assistant/ 03 Post 

Qualification : 1. 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry subjects with at least 2nd division from any recognized institute. 2. Two years Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology from recognized institute. 3. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level.

Stenographer Grade-III at KVKs / 03 Post 

Qualification : i) Graduate with knowledge of Computer. ii) Shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. in English to be transcribed at a speed of 15 w.p.m. iii) Shorthand speed of 50 w.p.m. in Punjabi to be transcribed at a speed of 10 w.p.m. iv) Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric.
