Key Responsibilities
1. Training and Product Familiarization
-
Undergo comprehensive training on company products, services, and solutions (such as electrical systems, automation tools, machinery, sensors, control panels, etc.).

Shadow senior sales engineers and technical support teams to learn client engagement, solution demonstration, and sales pipeline management.
2. Client Interaction & Sales Development
-
Reach out to new leads, inquiries, and existing clients to promote relevant solutions.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, or proposals to explain products or services to customers.

Develop a clear understanding of customer requirements, technical challenges, and application needs.
3. Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support
-
Coordinate with internal technical teams to design and suggest the right products/solutions to clients.

Assist in preparing quotations, tenders, and technical documentation for prospective clients.

Ensure follow-up support is provided after sales closure — including installation, commissioning coordination, and troubleshooting guidance.
4. Site Visits and Product Demonstrations

Conduct on-site visits to assess client environments and offer customized solutions.

Deliver product demos, installation support, or training sessions for clients.
-
Travel locally or regionally as required to maintain customer relationships.
5. Market Research & Lead Generation

Research industry trends, competitors, and prospective client segments.

Identify new markets and applications for company products.
-
Attend expos, seminars, or webinars to build market knowledge and networks.
6. Reporting & CRM Updates
-
Maintain daily logs of meetings, calls, and follow-ups using CRM tools or Excel reports.

Generate weekly/monthly reports on sales funnel status, conversion ratios, and client feedback.

Coordinate with the sales manager to track personal performance against targets.
