Job Description
1. Qualification and Requirements
a. Bachelor’s/Masters in Remote Sensing & GIS/Civil Engineering from recognized institute or
university.
b. Should have (2+ years) work / hands-on experience with geospatial processing software’s
like: ArcGIS ArcMap, QGIS, Erdas Imagine, Envi, GRASS GIS.
c. Should have (2+ years) work / hands-on experience with geotechnical engineering processing
software’s like: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM.
d. Experience in data conversion from GIS to CAD platform.
e. Knowledge of surveying methods and associated equipment’s like: DGPS, Total station, etc.
f. Familiar with advance GIS Skills incorporated with followings:
• ArcGIS Suite – ArcMap, ArcGIS Server, WebApp Builder, ArcGIS portal.
• Spatial Data management – spatial data modelling, database creation, database
management.
• Conversion Map-object to Arc-object.
• Web GIS applications and Web services with Joview Plus or with any language.
• Knowledge of Web-GIS, Web-Servers, server-side, client-side deployment through web
applet.
g. Familiar with creation and working with 3-D Models of the assets captured by UAVs / Drones.
2. Essential Responsibilities
a. To work on photogrammetric processing of UAV data set, and convert it to meaningful data
for interpretation in the requirements of the customer.
b. To work on key problems in the GIS data processing and identifying effective solutions to
tackle the problems.
c. To use scripting techniques or model making approach to automate various operations in GIS
operations.
d. Various GIS operations like digitization of Assets covering various features and industries
like: roadways, canals, mining, areas, etc. data conversion from GIS operations to CAD
platform in the requirements of the customer, creation of TIN, Volume estimation. Working
with numerous toolsets like 3D Analyst, Analysis, Cartography, Data management, Network
analyst, Spatial analyst tools, etc.
e. Image processing for classification and analysis using different software’s.
f. 3-D Modelling & working of assets produced using UAVs / Drones data.
