Post- GIS Engineer ( GIS & DATA )
No. of Post- 35 Nos.
Qualification: ITI, Diploma , B.Tech(All Branch) , AUTOCAD OR Graduation with Basic Computer knowledge.
Age Limit: Below 30 Years.
Location: Balasore.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the GIS database management
Creates and updates maps and other visualizations, using ESRI ArcGIS software, by extracting and copying data and geometry from AutoCAD design files.
Be able to create, add, and edit attribute fields to design objects in AutoCAD. Be able to create and edit kml/kmz files.
Evaluates data for accuracy, usefulness, and compatibility.
Coordinates with DEPCOM Engineering Staff, Site Development, and Project Team to solve backend problems and implement system enhancements and As-built updates as needed.
Create and manage project schedule working closely with various Engineering and Project Delivery Teams.
Be able to meet project deadlines in a timely manner.
Designs, develop, maintain, and update custom web based ESRI ArcGIS applications, geospatial databases, and models to support a variety of business functions.
Plans and implements systems and databases for storing and accessing geospatial data.
Troubleshoot Issues related to the ESRI ArcGIS Application
Documents the design and execution of programming in a clear and concise manner.
Perform related duties as required.
Manage construction user access to ArcGIS maps.
