Job Description
Physio/ Physical Therapist Job vacancies in Goa Football Development Council purely on part time contractual basis
Qualification : Physio/ Physical Therapist Master Degree in Physio/ Physical Therapy with minimum 1 year work experience. Preference would be given to those working in the sports field.
Remuneration : Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 15,000/- only for part time duties performed as per schedule of the Academy.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
1. Minimum 15 years of residence / domicile in the State.
2. Age limit of 40 years for Direct Recruitment.
3. Knowledge of Konkani compulsory.
4. Knowledge of Marathi desirable.
Physio/Physical Therapists will be required to perform physio therapists duties on filed between 6:00 am to 7:00 am and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm or 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm as per the schedule provided by the GFDC Residential Academy.

On 26th March 2012 the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar in his budget speech in the Goa Legislative Assembly made the announcement that Football would be the Official State sport for the State of Goa. he also announced that Dr. Rufino Monteiro who is a well known Cardiologist who has a deep passion for Football would be the Chairman of the Goa Football Development Council. On 29th July 2012 the GFDC office premises was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister with its office at Myles High Corporate Hub 6th Floor, Patto, Panjim, Goa.
