This Institution is affiliated to P.U. Chandigarh, situated in Distt. Ludhiana on the banks of the eldest daughter of Sutlej river’s Bathinda branch on Payal - Ahmedgarh road about one and half km southwards from Gurudwara Karamsar , Rara Sahib . Its distance from Payal , Doraha and Ahmedgarh is same , that is 10 km . Although its ground building was originally got built by Sant Baba Isher Singh ji Rara Sahib wale for Khalsa Higher Secondery School , but in 1969 Baba ji persuaded justice Gurnam Singh , the chief Minister of Punjab , and got it approved as a Govt. College . The entire building (along with a lot of furniture etc.) was handed over to the Govt. . For some time (by the time the separate building for the school was constructed) both school and college were run in the same building.
