Educational Qualification (a) BA.BEd. Teacher - He / She must have acquired bachelor degree in Arts/ Commerce ( with two school subjects) from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) along with a degree in Bachelor in Education ( a course prescribed by NCTE) from an institution recognised by NCTE and affiliated to a recognised university. (b) BSc. BEd. Teacher - He / She must have acquired bachelor degree in Science (CBZIPCM) ( with two school subjects) from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) along with a Degree in Bachelor in Education ( a course prescribed by NCTE) from an institution recognised by NCTE and affiliated to a recognised University. (c) Sanskrit Teacher — Bachelor Degree with Sanskrit as one of the optional/ Hons. subject from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) with Sikshya Shastri (Sanskrit) ( a course prescribed by NCTE) from a recognised University / Institution recognised by NCTE and affiliated to a recognised University OR Shastri (Sanskrit) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) from recognised University and Sikshya Shastri (Sanskrit) ( a course prescribed by NCTE) from a recognised University / institution recognised by NCTE and affiliated to a recognised University. OR Acharya (Except Jyotishacharya and Ayurvedacharya) or Sahityacharya with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University. OR Bachelor's Degree with Sanskrit as one of the optional/ Hons. subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) and M.A in Sanskrit with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University.
(d) Hindi Teacher- Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University with Hindi as one of the elective subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) or with Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti , Wardha or with Sastri from Odisha Rastrabhasa Parisada, Puri or with Snataka (Acquired by June,2005. the date up to which the temporary recognition has been granted) from Hindi Sikshya Samiti , Odisha. Cuttack or an equivalent Degree from a recognised institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) and Hindi Sikshyan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra/ B.H.Ed. ( a course prescribed by NCTE) from a Institution recognised by NCTE and affiliated to a recognised University/ BEd. in Hindi (a course prescribed by NCTE) from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras. a institution recognised by NCTE and affiliated to a recognised University. OR Bachelor's Degree with Hindi as one of the optional / Hons. subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SOST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) and M.A. in Hindi with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University.
(e) PET- Manic or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/ PH/ OBC/ SEBC candidates ) and CPEd from recognised Board/ University.
(For the post of BA.BEet/BSc.BEd/Sanskrit Teacher/ Teacher/PET the candidates must have to pass OSSTET conducted by BSE, Odisha within the prescribed timeline ) (0 ISc.CT- He / She must have passed C.T. with Intermediate/+2 of Science with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/ PH/ OBC/ SEBC candidates )from a recognised Council with OTET.
(g) A.CT- He / She must have passed C.T. with Intermediate/+2 of Arts with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/ PH/ OBC/ SEBC candidates )from a recognised Council with OTET.
(h) Junior Clerk /Junior Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator :- He / She must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or any equivalent Examination with knowledge in Basic Computer Skills.
(i) Peon- He / She must have passed M.E. Examination.
(j) Science Attendant:- He / She must have passed M.E. Examination. (k) Night Watchman-cum-Sweeper— He must have passed M.E. Examination.
Emoluments : Rs. 9,300-13,500 for Trained Teachers and Ts. 5,200-8,000 for others

The climate of Keonjhar District is characterized by an oppressively hot summer with high humidity. Summer generally commences in the month of March. Temperature begins to rise rapidly attaining the maximum in the month of May. During the summer, maximum temperature touches around 380 C. The weather becomes more pleasant with the advent of the monsoon in June and remains as such up to the end of October.
