Graduate Apprentice/Technician Apprentice recruitment in Mumbai Port Trust
1 .Graduate Apprentice (Mechanical Engineering) /02Posts
2. Graduate Apprentice (Electrical Engineering) /03Posts
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Technology from a recognized University as per Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time)
Rate of Stipend per month: Rs. 4984/- or as applicable under Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time)
3. Technician Apprentice (Mechanical Engineering)/ 03Posts
4. Technician Apprentice (Electrical Engineering) /03 Posts
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Technology from a recognized Board of Technical Education as per Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time)
b) Applicant, who have already undergone or undergoing apprenticeship training under Apprentice Act, 1961 in any other Govt. / Public Sector /Private Organisation are NOT eligible to apply.
c) Applicant, who have training or job experience for a period one year or more after acquiring the prescribe minimum qualification, shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as an Apprentice.
d) The applicant should NOT have completed three years after passing of minimum qualification examination as on 01/05/2018.
Rate of Stipend per month: Rs. 3542/- or as applicable under Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time)
Age Limit: The age limit will be as per the rules and regulations and provision contained in Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) i.e. the applicant should not be less than 14 years of age on 01/05/2018 and there will be no upper age limit.
Application Fee: The cost of application form will be Rs.20/- and it will be accepted in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque/ Pay Order payable at Mumbai in favour of “The Board of Trustees of the Port of Mumbai”.
