Job Description
- Perform PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection) PSI (Pre-Shipment Inspection) FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) of solar photovoltaic (PV) components/ equipment. (training will be provided).
- witnesses and review of JB-Pull (Junction-Box Adhesion Test) EL (Electro Luminescence), Flash Test, HI-Pot (High Voltage Potential), MLT (Mechanical Load Test), Wet-Leakage in accordance with the QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) / Visual criteria (training will be provided).
- Daily inspection & monitoring of the manufacturing process works as per the QAP/ Visual criteria to meet the AQL (Acceptance Quality Limits) as per ISO standards. (training will be provided).
- Issue MDCC (Material Dispatch Clearance certificate); witness the container loading operation and ensure the material loading activity is performed as per the standard process with qualified equipment.
- Verification of raw materials, and observe daily tests, guaranteeing adherence to the highest standards and swift identification of any deviations/ non-conformity/ non-compliance.
- Perform work in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements of the company and the client. Undergo all requisite safety and technical training.
- Work safely under all circumstances, seek guidance regarding unfamiliar work to ensure safety and understanding of tasks to be performed.
- Handle and maintain company’s tools, tackles, instruments & equipment safely.
- Keep track of work performed and update to the supervisor.
- Respond “on-call” as directed by supervisor to assist on immediate site assessment and overnight travel as needed.
- Ability to understand directions, follow procedures, and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
- Perform work independently and/or in work crews.
- Perform/ assist with technical and administrative duties.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Always maintains safety and professionalism.
- Technical understanding of operations and functions of all components/ equipment associated with solar PV power plant.
- Working knowledge of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment.
- Familiarity of basic safety principles including LOTO and electrical safety.
- Committed to exercise an accident-free work environment.
- Basic communication skills (English & Hindi, other languages).
- Must be able to travel and work outdoors in PAN India under different weather conditions.
- 30% travel and 70% On-site work.
