Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer Trainee - Mechanical to join our Millwork CAD team. This role is ideal for fresh mechanical engineering graduates (2024 or 2025 pass-outs) with a strong command of AutoCAD and an interest in millwork drafting and production documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate millwork shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Read and interpret architectural and design intent drawings.
- Draft detailed 2D drawings for cabinetry, furniture, and custom woodwork.
- Collaborate with project leads and senior CAD technicians to deliver high-quality drawings.
- Apply material specifications, hardware, and joinery details as per client requirements.
- Ensure adherence to industry and BluEnt CAD quality standards.
- Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Only 2024 or 2025 pass-outs are eligible to apply.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
- Basic knowledge of woodworking or manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong drafting fundamentals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of millwork drafting.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Exposure to furniture design, woodworking, or millwork (through projects/internships).
