Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Graphic Design: Assist the design team in creating visual content for various marketing materials, including but not limited to social media graphics, website banners and images, email marketing campaigns, and print materials (brochures, flyers, posters, etc.)
2. Concept Development: Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for design projects
3. Content Creation: Produce eye-catching and engaging visual content that aligns with our brand identity and messaging
4. Software Proficiency: Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit graphics
5. Image Sourcing: Research and select images, illustrations, and other visual elements to enhance design projects
6. File Management: Organize and maintain digital assets, ensuring files are easily accessible for future use
7. Actively participate in design critiques and be open to feedback for continuous improvement
8. Assist with ad-hoc design tasks and support the design team in meeting project deadlines
Requirements:
1. Basic Knowledge of Graphic Design: While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates should have a foundational understanding of graphic design principles
2. Proficiency in Design Software: Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus
3. Creativity: Demonstrated creative thinking and an eye for detail
4. Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
5. Team Player: Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
6. Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
