Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, be skilled in both static and motion visuals, and be capable of delivering visually engaging content for various digital and print platforms.

This role will involve designing marketing collaterals, social media creatives, UI assets, and editing promotional videos, reels, explainer content, and more. The candidate should be capable of working under deadlines and collaborating with different departments to translate ideas into compelling visual content.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Graphic Design Responsibilities

  • Design a wide range of marketing assets such as brochures, flyers, posters, emailers, banners, infographics, and social media creatives

  • Create visual branding materials including logos, business cards, letterheads, presentation templates, and packaging

  • Work with the marketing team to develop campaign-specific design themes and layouts

  • Design visual content for landing pages, mobile applications, e-commerce platforms, and websites

  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual communications by following brand guidelines

  • Prepare and export print-ready files, with appropriate bleed, resolution, and color settings

2. Video Editing Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content including promotional videos, social media reels, interviews, tutorials, event videos, and testimonials

  • Add music, sound effects, text overlays, transitions, lower thirds, and voiceovers as needed

  • Create animated graphics, intros, outros, and simple motion designs

  • Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Ensure proper audio leveling, video color correction, and export settings for web and mobile compatibility

3. Collaboration & Project Management

  • Collaborate closely with content writers, marketing strategists, product teams, and digital marketers to deliver creative assets

  • Take ownership of assigned creative projects from concept to delivery

  • Handle multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • Take and implement feedback from stakeholders to improve visuals

4. Asset & File Management

  • Maintain an organized library of design templates, icons, stock photos, fonts, and video footage

  • Ensure all working files (e.g., PSD, AI, AE, Premiere files) are properly stored and backed up

  • Maintain a version control system for all designs and edited files

5. Research & Creativity

  • Stay updated with the latest design and video trends, platform requirements, and audience preferences

  • Suggest creative ideas, themes, or formats for visual storytelling

  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for campaigns and marketing initiatives

Key Skills & Tools:

Design Software:

  • Adobe Photoshop – Image editing, social media creatives

  • Adobe Illustrator – Logos, icons, vector graphics

  • Adobe InDesign – Brochures, booklets, PDFs

  • Figma / Canva – UI design and quick social content (if applicable)

Video Editing Software:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro – Core editing tool

  • Adobe After Effects – Motion graphics, text animation

  • DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro / CapCut (optional) – Depending on employer preferences

  • Audacity / Adobe Audition – Basic audio cleanup (optional)

Additional Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of color theory, typography, and layout

  • Familiarity with video compression, frame rates, codecs, and platform-specific export settings

  • Knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn content formats and requirements

Soft Skills:

  • Attention to detail – Ensuring accuracy in visuals and edits
