The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms. 

Responsibilities

• Creating graphics (designs/illustrations) to align with the overall content strategy & working on PowerPoint/marketing decks designing for business projects
• Designing infographics, animated videos & social media content (informative content designing)
• Understanding the requirements from the team/head
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
• Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to the founder
• Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Adobe InDesign
• Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists
• Amending designs after feedback
• Ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Working on the design and updates of the corporate websites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Adobe Indesign
• MS Powerpoint
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Portfolio of work
