Profile description :
- Qualification : Formal education from a reputed design institute.
- In case of no formal design education, candidate should provide extensive portfolio of their design work to corroborate their competency.
- Strategize with the art director to determine the scope of a project / task
- Formulate strategies to reach a particular audience
- Determine the message the design should portray
- Create images and graphics that identify a product or convey a message
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
- Graphic design for social media, promotions and marketing events.
- Design user manuals, catalogs etc and other print media for products and services
- Editing product photographs for website listings.
- Select appropriate colors, images, text style, and layout for products and promotions
- Should be well versed in the principles of Design
- Candidate should have extensive knowledge and hands on experience in design softwares such as : Photoshop, Illustrator
- Analytical skills. Candidate must be able to look at their work from the point of view of their consumers and examine how the designs they develop will be perceived by the consumer to ensure they convey the clients desired message.
- Artistic ability : Candidate must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to clients and consumers.
- Produce rough illustrations of design ideas, either by hand sketching or by using a computer program.
- Communication skills. Candidate must have good communication skills required to communicate with clients, customers, and other designers to ensure that their designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information.
- Software skills. Candidate must have extensive knowledge and hands on experience in image and vector processing softwares like Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Creativity :Candidate must be able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers.
- Should be able to develop unique designs that convey a recognizable meaning on behalf of their clients.
- Time-management skills : Candidate will be required to often work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline.
- So candidate should have efficient time management skills.
