- ·You need to be creative, good with ideas & concepts.
- ·Proficient with graphic software like Photoshop, Corel Draw is a must. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is an advantage.
- ·Should have an exceptional ideas-led portfolio that demonstrates creative flair, versatility and imagination.
- ·Understand the brief of the client and transform them to tangible designs.
- Create design solutions from concept to production.
- Must possess excellent creativity, flair and positive attitude with an eye for design details.
- Must be able to work with speed and meet deadlines
- Ability to contribute as an individual or as a part of team as well.
Graphic designers typically do the following:
- Meet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project
- Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
- Determine the message the design should portray
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
- Select colors, images, text style, and layout
- Present the design to clients or the art director
- Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
