Job Description
The Graphic & Web Designer position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of visual assets and content to support the product and other marketing goals. From concept creation through to execution, this candidate will create illustrations, design concepts and improve user experience, across various touchpoints.
We are looking for the candidate who has,
· Advanced skills in designing software like Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premier and other Adobe tools
· Advanced knowledge in Video editing.
· Ability to effectively multi-task over various intensive projects. Design clear engaging graphic communications for print and web. This will include logos, direct mail pieces, branded promotional items, website and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials.
· Designing creative banners for online Ad campaigns and external communication. Design graphics branding banners (mandatory) online banners, emailers, blogs etc. for digital interfaces.
· Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
· Collaborate with marketing and product marketing teammates to support our website design and content marketing (blog, social media assets, and more).
· Candidate should also know advanced HTML & CSS for web designing purpose. Knowing PHP, bootstrap & java would work as an added benefit.
· Should also have the basic knowledge to work on WordPress.
Requirements:
- Bachelors / Masters of fine Arts / Diploma in Graphics from reputed educational institutes (e.g. NID, NIFT)
- Previous experience in the capacity of an
in-house designer or at a marketing agency. We require work samples
to be shared.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, Photoshop or similar
technologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a major plus.
- Experience in graphic design, banners, mailers
for other web companies, creative agencies etc.
- Prior experience in the internet / e-Commerce domain preferred
- Advertising Graphic design experience preferred
- Should be creative and imaginative with the ability to draw and illustrate.
- Excellent Communication (written and oral) and time management skills.
- Should be extremely organized with a creative eye having an attention to
detail.
- Should be flexible, responsive and be able to work independently as well as
in a team.
