Job Title: Grocery Delivery Driver

We are looking for an organized and friendly individual to join our team as a Grocery Delivery Driver. As a grocery delivery driver.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Grocery Delivery

Timely Deliveries: Deliver groceries and other products to customers within the specified delivery window.
Route Optimization: Follow an efficient delivery route to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary equipment such as shopping bags, GPS, and mobile devices.
Handling Deliveries: Safely load and unload groceries, ensuring the correct items are delivered to the right address in good condition.

2. Customer Service

Customer Interaction: Interact with customers professionally and courteously during the delivery process, ensuring a positive experience.
Issue Resolution: Address any customer concerns or complaints related to the delivery, such as missing items or delays, and escalate issues when necessary.
Proof of Delivery: Obtain customer signatures, photos, or other verification methods for proof of delivery.

3. Inventory and Stock Management

Order Verification: Verify that all items on the delivery list are accounted for before leaving the warehouse or grocery store.
Packaging and Protection: Ensure that perishable items (e.g., dairy, frozen goods) are packed properly to maintain their quality during transport.
Return Items: Manage any return items that customers may need to send back, ensuring they are logged properly.

4. Record Keeping and Reporting

Delivery Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues, delays, or special customer requests.
Vehicle Logs: Keep a log of daily vehicle mileage and fuel usage, reporting any mechanical issues or concerns.
Sales and Payment Reporting: Record any payments received during delivery, such as cash or tips, and provide accurate documentation.

5. Safety and Compliance

Traffic and Safety Regulations: Comply with all traffic laws and delivery safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices and the well-being of customers and other road users.
Health and Safety Standards: Follow all company guidelines regarding the handling of grocery items, especially perishable goods, and ensure proper sanitation practices.
Vehicle Safety: Ensure the vehicle is regularly inspected, and perform pre-trip checks for things like tire pressure, oil levels, and safety equipment.
