Job Description

Responsible for ensuring compliance with GST laws, managing accurate and timely filing of GST returns, reconciling input tax credit and addressing GST-related issues such as audits, assessments and notices.

- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner.

- Reconcile GST transactions and ensure accuracy in all GST filings.

- Maintain records of GST returns filed and supporting documentation.

- Stay updated on changes in GST laws, rules, and regulations.

- Interpret and apply GST laws to ensure compliance in financial transactions and reporting.

- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to GST requirements.

- Maintain proper documentation and records related to GST compliance.

- Respond to queries and notices from GST authorities promptly and effectively.

- Prepare and maintain GST-related documentation for audits.

- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on GST compliance matters.

- Assist in GST impact assessments for business transactions and initiatives.

- Conduct training sessions for stakeholders on GST compliance best practices.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement in GST compliance procedures.

- Implement effective controls to mitigate risks related to GST compliance.
