Qualifications : I. Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% of the marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Physically & Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent Grade in a point wherever grading system is followed at Masters Degree level i.c. M.Sc Statistics/Bioinformatics/Human Biology & Informatics degree from an accredited University. 2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test( NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR. 3. The candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the minimum eligibility requirement condition of NET for the requirement and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
Desirable : Ph.D degree in relevant field or Ph.D in Statistics/Molecular Biology/ Human Biology & Informatics with atleast two years of relevant experience of Post-Graduate classes in the field of respective subject with relevant publications in peer reviewed journals.
