Qualification : A. Good academic records with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the Master's degree level in Assamese Language/Literature from an Indian University. B. NET is a compulsory requirement for appointment. However, candidates having Ph. D degree in Assamese complying with UGC 2009 regulations are exempted from NET.

Pay : Rs.500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 20000/- per month will be given to the guest teacher.
