3. Education Qualification and Experience:
(i) A Bachelor degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; AND
(ii) A Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in City Planning or Town Planning or Traffic or Transportation Planning or Regional Planning or Urban Design of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or a membership obtained by an examination of institute of Town Planners of India. AND
(iii) have atleast five years experience on the post not below the rank of Planning Assistant in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation; OR
(iv) have atleast five years experience in the field of civil engineering or urban planning or city planning or town planning in Government or local bodies or Government undertaking board or corporation or limited company established under the companies Act, 2013 on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Planning Assistant in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation.
4. Pay Scale: Pay scale of Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/- (Pay Matrix Level-8) in the GMC service
Age Limit:
Not be less than 18 years and not be more than 42 years of age. (Age will be Considered as on last date of online application.)
Application Fees:
Candidates of General (Unreserved) category have to pay Rs. 100/- + applicable postal charges or Rs. 100/- + Service Charges through online mode as Application Fees, while Candidates belonging to reserved categories and Economically Weaker Section of Unreserved category, Ex-Servicemen of Gujarat State and physically disabled candidates have not to pay application fees.
