Assistant Regional Transport Officer / Assistant Director of Transport, Class- II recruitment in Gujarat PSC

Qualification : (1) A bachelor’s degree with first class with Minimum 65 % of marks in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering obtained from any of the universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government; (2) The candidate shall possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. (3) The candidate shall possess a valid light motor vehicles driving license at the time of appointment. (4) the mimimum requisite standard of physique as specified in Appendix appended to these Rules; and not be colour blind and must have good vision with or without glasses. The test of Minimum Physical Standard will be held at Office of the GPSC for those Candidates who Passed Priliminery test with qualifying Standard. (5) The candidate shall possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Pay : Rs. 9300- 34800 (Grade pay- 5400)

Age : Not more than 35 years of age.

Application Fee: Candidates of General Category have to pay Rs.100/- as Application fee. While candidates of Reserved Category of Gujarat State & candidates who are physically disable have not to pay application fee. While candidates of Reserved Category of Other States have to pay application fee.
