7. Assistant Professor / (Centre for Industrial Design)  /02 Posts

Minimum Qualification: 1. B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech, from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government OR Post graduation degree equivalent to Master’s level with first class in Product Design / Industrial Design OR Master of Design with first class in Product Design/ Industrial Design Desirable: Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of Design (Preferably Design Thinking)  Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. Patents applied/Published/Granted. Research and innovation activities based on Design Thinking Methodology.  System Thinker  “Learning by Doing” approach . New Product Development (Design Process, Method, Elements)  A strong work ethic and passion for Creativity & Innovation. A positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate and learn.
