Job Summary:
We are looking for a well-presented, friendly, and organized Gym Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and visitors at our fitness facility. As a Gym Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome, assisting with membership inquiries, handling calls, and ensuring smooth front-desk operations.
This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsible, and enthusiastic about the fitness and wellness industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Desk Management

Greet all gym members and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude.

Handle member check-in and check-out using the gym management system.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.

Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for members and guests.
2. Membership Support

Provide information on membership plans, pricing, promotions, and facilities.

Assist new members with registration and onboarding formalities.

Issue membership cards, update member details, and maintain accurate records.

Follow up on membership renewals and payment dues.
3. Administrative Duties
-
Answer incoming calls and respond to emails/messages related to gym inquiries.

Maintain appointment schedules for personal trainers, classes, and consultations.

Record daily attendance, maintain front-desk registers, and prepare shift reports.

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for facility cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
4. Customer Service

Address member complaints and concerns politely and effectively.

Escalate unresolved issues to the manager or supervisor in a timely manner.

Assist with locker management, lost and found, and access control.

Provide guidance on class schedules, trainers, and gym policies.
5. Sales Support

Promote special offers, personal training packages, and group classes.

Encourage walk-in guests to take trial sessions or join as members.

Maintain a database of prospects and follow up regularly.

Achieve sales targets for memberships and upsell gym services when applicable.
Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Minimum 12th pass; graduation preferred.

Experience:

Freshers with good communication skills and grooming are welcome.

Prior experience in front-desk roles, gyms, spas, or hospitality is a plus.

Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office, email, and data entry.

Language: Proficiency in English and Hindi. Local language is a bonus.

Age: 18 to 35 years preferred.
