Your Role and Responsibilities

The candidate should be an experienced Big Data Admins with sufficient expertise in areas related to the administration of Big Data and related technologies.
He/ she shall have strong expertise in systems administration, Linux tools, configuration management on large scale environment, and shall have hands on experience in related tools like Ambari, Nagois, Gangila
Hands on experience in tools within Hadoop stack like Sqoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hbase, Pig, Hive, Oozie is highly desirable

Candidate will be required to coordinate with the application, infrastructure and other stakeholders and manage a Big Data solution

You’ll have access to all the technical, management and leadership training courses you need to become the expert you want to be

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Candidate shall possess at least a regular BE/ BTech/ MCA degree
Candidate shall possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years’ experience as HDFS Administrator.
Should have worked on at least one Big Data Implementation and where the data size is greater than 5 TB.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Knowledge of Isilon is highly desirable
Should be well conversant in English and should have excellent writing, MIS, communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
