Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented, creative, and customer-oriented Hair Stylist to join our salon team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair care, styling trends, and providing top-notch grooming services. You will be responsible for delivering a range of hair treatments including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair care consultations to clients.
The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, technical know-how, and a commitment to client satisfaction. A Hair Stylist must maintain high hygiene standards, understand current fashion trends, and build strong customer relationships to ensure repeat visits and customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hair Cutting & Styling:

Provide expert haircuts for men, women, and children as per client requests or facial structure.

Style hair for special occasions such as weddings, parties, or corporate events.

Offer blow-dry styling, curling, straightening, and up-dos.
2. Hair Coloring & Treatments:

Perform hair coloring, root touch-ups, highlights, balayage, ombre, and creative colors.

Recommend and apply hair treatments like hair spas, keratin, smoothening, protein treatments, dandruff control, etc.

Conduct patch tests and follow allergy safety guidelines before chemical treatments.
3. Client Consultation & Service:

Greet clients warmly and understand their hair care needs through consultation.

Suggest suitable hairstyles and treatments based on face shape, hair type, and lifestyle.

Educate clients on home care routines, products, and maintenance.
4. Salon Hygiene & Safety:
-
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of tools, chairs, mirrors, and the work area after every client.

Follow safety guidelines while handling chemicals, hot tools, and electrical devices.

Maintain grooming standards in line with salon protocols.
5. Product Knowledge & Sales:

Promote and recommend hair care products sold in the salon (shampoos, conditioners, serums, oils).

Stay updated with the latest brands, offers, and services available.

Contribute to upselling of services such as spa packages or additional treatments.
6. Team Coordination & Professionalism:

Work as part of a team with other stylists, beauticians, and support staff.

Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops as scheduled.
