Hardware Development Engineer
Coordinate with various stakeholders of the project in the team (local and international).
Development of variants from an existing platform / Develop new platforms.
Perform circuit calculation/simulation of hardware modules to get the worst-case values and thresholds.
Develop and optimize test steps, which will be used by the production plant to test the ECUs.
Interaction with software and system team as a part of daily task.
Project Responsible for Hardware component of the Chassis Control Units (Braking System Product) for Customer projects as Hardware Development Engineer.
Requirement analysis of the customer specification against Bosch specifications.
Technical understanding of the electronic circuit and design of electronics modules.
The engineer will act as the primary technical interface to customers and moderate technical customer discussions and presentations regarding ECU hardware development and technical specifications.
Safety analysis from the HW perspective.
Customer handling and project planning and tracking.
Planning and delivering the technical documents, sample development, and BOM release.
Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering is preferred and a Master's degree is strongly desirable.
Familiarity with worst-case circuit design/calculations practices.
Experience in verification techniques (design verification methods, data. acquisition/analysis, hardware-in-the-loop virtual tools (HIL/MIL/SIL).
Experience with model-based design: Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow.
Understanding of typical automotive interfaces: CAN, CAN FD, Flex ray, Autosar, Auto-Ethernet, etc.
Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
Strong communication, written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail, accountability, and ownership.
Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) & Failure Mode Avoidance.
Experience with rapid prototyping.
Familiarity with Vector CANape, CANalyzer.
Project management experience.
Highly Competent in Core Electronics.
Full life cycle Hardware development experience for automotive electronics products.
Experience working on a global, cross-functional project.
