Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware Installation & Configuration:

Install and configure POS systems, barcode scanners, thermal printers, cash drawers, and other peripheral devices at client locations.

Set up basic hardware-related networking for POS systems, such as Ethernet and wireless connectivity.

Ensure correct integration of hardware with software systems provided by the client or organization.

Perform initial testing after installation to verify complete functionality and client satisfaction.

Conduct routine maintenance of POS systems and peripherals to prevent hardware failures and ensure uptime.

Maintain proper logs of service visits, issues resolved, and hardware changes.

5. Preventive Measures & Best Practices:

Proactively identify potential points of failure and recommend preventive maintenance schedules.

Ensure cabling, device placement, and equipment layout comply with health and safety standards.
