Position: System / Senior System Engineer

Job Description:

ACTIVITIES / Expectation

The Developer will have as main responsibilities to:

·       Implement the technical specifications and participate in the architecture conception

·       Develop the detailed functionalities in the technical specifications with Java

·       Provide support to the development teams

·       Makes valuable contributions through teamwork, and participates in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.

·       Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.

·       Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems.

·       Estimates level of effort, evaluates new options with similar technology when applicable

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·       Minimum 3 years of software development experience and have demonstrated problem solving skills.

·       Engineering degree level or equivalent with specialization in Computer Science or IT related specialization

·       Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in Core Java development language

·       Hands on experience in Spring MVC, Hibernate & MongoDB

·       Knowledge of ISO8583, EMV & JPOS desirable

·       Knowledge of Python desirable

·       Knowledge of REST API desirable

·       Knowledge of Agile development methodologies desirable

·       Knowledge of Electronic payment industry knowledge (card transactions flows) desirable

·       Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written in English is must, and any other languages is an advantage

·       Willing to work as an individual contributor
