Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:-Knowledge on making bread and pastries
-Plan, implement and manage daily operations
-Suggest menu options-Understand visitors preferences and make suggestions based on findings
-Prepare Croissants, Danishes and Artisan breads
-Prepare a wide variety of foods such as breads, cookies, pies, cakes
-Decorate pastries using different icing, toppings that are appealing to the eye
-Monitor supplies and ingredients important for daily operations
-Check quality of materials and conditions of equipment
-Train, guide and motivate other pastry assistants
-Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
-Maintain a clean cooking station
-Maintain a clean cooking station
-Adhere to health and safety standards-Keep abreast with the latest food and industry trends
