Job Description
IDBI Bank invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the below mentioned post (on contract basis).

1. Name of the Post: Head – Information Technology
2. No of Post: 01
3. Contract Period: 3 years (extendable upto 5 years)
4. Annual CTC (approx.): ₹80.00 lac to ₹100.00 lac
5. Educational Qualification: Full-time Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines namely Electronics & Telecommunications/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Electrical/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication or Master’s in Computer Application from a University/ Institute recognized by Government of India or its Regulatory bodies.
6. Specific Skill Required:
a) Sound knowledge of development, implementation and management of IT related projects with appropriate managerial skills.
b) Firsthand knowledge in supervising development of software solutions.
c) Exposure to Core Banking Solutions, Mobile Digital banking, networking, server administration
d) Strong project management skills and management of development, maintenance and support teams.
e) Strong understanding of Banking products,
f) In-depth understanding of business processes/banking operations; banking products Mobility, Cards and Payments, control objectives and fundamentals of Digital Banking.
g) Excellent analytical skills, excellent communication & decision making skills.
7. Post Qualification Work Experience (as on 31.03.2021):
a) Overall work experience of 20 years in the field of Information Technology
b) Of which at least 10 years at a senior level preferably in an IT unit of a bank / financial institution.
c) Experience should be post minimum educational qualification. (Training & Teaching experience will not be counted for eligibility)
8. Job Profile:
a) Responsible for the entire IT operations and IT infrastructure of the Bank
b) Direct the design, development and implementation of the Bank's IT Strategy and Core Banking Solution.
c) Responsible for digitizing the entire gamut of banking operations and ensuring reduction in cost of operations by leveraging the digital shift.
d) Direct and oversee all IT /Business Solutions related projects to ensure that they are delivered and deployed cost effectively.
e) Developing long term plans to sustain and support the business, anticipating the future Trends Optimizing and managing the technology network in a manner that it delivers high efficiency with sufficient resilience and yet managing costs effectively
f) Identifying needs and ensuring ideal software solutions are developed in a timely manner to help increase operational efficiency and also leading edge products
g) Develop and maintain overall framework of IT policies, standards and strategies that will empower business and people to deliver on their commitments to the strategy and budgets

Age (as on 31.03.2021): Minimum 45 years to Maximum 55 years
