Urgent Requirement For Head – Quality Assurance|Quality Lead Incharge position in our leading Automotive sheet metal industry.
Qualification: Diploma Mechanical
Experience: 6-7 Yrs ( Quality Lead incharge, Quality head Relevant Exp)
skills: Audit Reports, QMS Dashboard,Green Tag Register, PDI Reports,8D Reports, NCR Tracker,SPC Charts, Cpk Report,Supplier Audit Reports, PPAP files,Calibration Register, MSA Reports,PPAP file, PSW,Audit Tracker, NC Closure Report.
JD :
1. Quality ManagementSystem (QMS):Maintain IATF 16949 Quality Manual, Procedures, and Work Instructions. Plan andexecute Internal Audits (LPA — Layered Process Audits) monthly. ManageDocument Control system (Control Plans, FMEAs, Drawings, ECNs). Ensure 100%readiness for external audits (zero Major NCs).2. Operational Quality(IQC + IPQC + PDI)Oversee IQA (Incoming Quality), IPQC (In-Process), and PDI (Pre-DispatchInspection). Enforce Green Tag (First-Off Approval) before every production run.Conduct Pre-Dispatch Inspection per AQL sampling plan. Zero customer escapes.3. Customer ComplaintManagementRespond to all customer complaints within 24 Hours. Submit 8D Reports (with Poka-Yoke) within 48 hours (initial) and 1 week (final CAPA). Manage digital NCR systemfor complaint tracking and aging. Monitor Customer PPM monthly.4. SPC Program (NEW)Formally own the SPC (Statistical Process Control) program. Define Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics per control plan. Monitor Cpk monthly. Cpk <1.33triggers immediate investigation. Target Cpk >1.67 for all special characteristics.5. Supplier Quality (SQA)Conduct periodic supplier audits. Issue Quality Debit Notes for bad lots. ValidatePPAP samples from new suppliers. Manage ESG Supplier Assessment questionnairefor top 20 suppliers. Upgrade Grade-C suppliers.
6. Instrument &Calibration ControlEnsure all gauges (Verniers, Micrometers, Height Gauges) are calibrated perschedule. Maintain Calibration Master Register. Zero expired gauges on the floor.Conduct MSA (Measurement System Analysis) studies annually.
7. PPAP & New ProductApprovalCompile and submit PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) packages (Level 1-5as required). Submit samples and documents to Customer Quality Portal. Chasecustomer for PSW (Part Submission Warrant) sign-off.
8. Internal Audit &Compliance (NEW)Conduct minimum 2 full-system Internal Audits per year. Conduct Layered ProcessAudits (LPA) monthly at machine level. Track all findings in digital audit tracker.Close all NCs within defined timelines. Present audit health at MRM.
Salary: 30 K- 35 K Inhand
Job Timing : 08.15 Am- 5.30 PM + 2 Hrs O.T (OT allowance extra)
Work Location: Thirumullaivoyal Ambattur Chennai Candidate Preferred Location: Avadi, Annanur, Pattabiram, Thiruninravur, Puzhal, Puthur ambattur, sekkadu.
