Job Description
We are looking for an uncompromising help desk analyst to tend to all IT-related issues with care. The help desk analyst ought to troubleshoot employees' computer-related difficulties, mend issues with our network, and oversee the regular updating of all pertinent installations. You should also remain informed about new product releases that may be of use to our company.

Key Responsibilities:
1. User Support and Issue Resolution:

Serve as the first point of contact for users via phone, email, chat, or in-person for IT support requests.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

Provide step-by-step guidance to users for resolving problems or escalating issues when necessary.
2. Ticketing and Documentation:
-
Log all user interactions and incidents accurately using help desk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk).

Track, prioritize, and manage support requests to ensure timely resolution according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Document known issues, solutions, and FAQs in the knowledge base to assist users and team members in the future.
3. Software and Hardware Support:

Install, configure, and support standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email clients, antivirus tools).

Assist with setting up new hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and phones.

Maintain and update software and perform basic troubleshooting for third-party applications.
4. User Account Management:

Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Active Directory, email systems, and other applications as required.

Assist with password resets, access issues, and account lockouts.

Ensure compliance with security policies and data access protocols.
5. Remote Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide remote desktop support using tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or Windows Remote Desktop.

Guide users through remote troubleshooting steps over the phone or chat.

Address and resolve support requests from remote users working offsite or from home.
6. System Monitoring and Maintenance:

Monitor system alerts and notifications, and respond to potential issues proactively.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, system clean-ups, and virus scans.

Assist IT staff with system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
7. Customer Service and Communication:

Communicate clearly and professionally with users, providing updates and explanations in non-technical language.

Maintain a positive, patient, and supportive attitude when assisting frustrated or non-technical users.

Follow up with users to ensure that issues have been resolved to their satisfaction.
