Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Assistance
-
Assist machine operators in setting up machines and feeding raw materials as per production requirements.

Monitor machine operations and report any unusual behavior, jams, or malfunctions to the supervisor.

Remove finished goods or waste from machines and clean work areas before and after shift changes.
-
Ensure timely loading and unloading of material near machines to keep the production line running smoothly.
2. Packing Activities
-
Pack finished products according to size, weight, and type using appropriate packing material like boxes, cartons, polybags, shrink wrap, etc.

Ensure labeling, sealing, and taping is done accurately and as per company standards.

Count, weigh, or measure items and keep records of packed goods for inventory purposes.

Stack and arrange packed goods on pallets or in storage areas.
3. Quality and Hygiene
-
Perform basic visual quality checks to identify defective or damaged products before packing.
-
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the production and packing area at all times.
-
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workplace cleanliness as per company policy.
4. Material Handling
-
Move raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods from one place to another manually or using trolleys or forklifts (if trained).

Assist in loading/unloading trucks, shifting materials to/from the storage area, and supporting dispatch when required.
5. Safety and Compliance
-
Follow all workplace safety rules including the use of gloves, masks, safety shoes, and uniforms.

Immediately report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe practices to the supervisor.

Operate machinery only under supervision or if trained and authorized.
6. Support Tasks
-
Support other departments when required (cleaning, sorting, counting, labeling).

Help with basic maintenance like cleaning machines, oiling parts, or removing jammed products under guidance.

Participate in stock counting and inventory support as needed.
