Himalayan Junior /Senior Research Fellow job recruitment in Wildlife Institute of India (WII) on Contractual Basis
Project Title : “National Mission on Himalayan Studies: Fellowships (NMHS-Fellowships Programme)”
No. of Post : 01
Essential Qualification(s) (EQ) : Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Sciences/Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Candidates with two years field research experience will be considered for Senior Project Fellow (SPF).
Desirable Qualification(s) (DQ) : Experience /interest in: field data collection on lichens, micro-flora / vegetation, Remote sensing & GIS and habitat/vegetation quantification methods.
Salary : Rs. 16000 (JRF) / Rs. 18000 (SRF) + 20% HRA
Age Limit : Up to 28 years for JPF and up to 32 years for SPF.
Duration : One year (extendable up to March 2019)
