Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Instruction

Plan and deliver daily lessons in Hindi language and literature aligned with the school curriculum or education board (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, etc.).

Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary in Hindi.

Introduce students to Hindi poetry, prose, short stories, and other literary forms.

Encourage class discussions and critical thinking about Hindi texts and language usage.

Use different instructional techniques such as storytelling, audio-visual aids, and interactive activities.
2. Lesson Planning and Classroom Management

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and academic content in advance.

Design worksheets, assignments, and assessments tailored to the needs of the students.

Manage classroom behavior to maintain a positive learning environment.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for learning and expression.
3. Assessment and Evaluation

Conduct regular assessments to monitor student understanding and progress.

Evaluate student performance through class tests, exams, oral recitations, and written assignments.

Maintain records of student performance and provide feedback to students and parents.

Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
4. Language Development and Enrichment

Encourage students to practice Hindi in daily conversation.

Organize language-based activities such as debates, elocution, storytelling, role play, and essay competitions.

Promote appreciation of Hindi literature, culture, and traditions.
5. Academic Coordination

Collaborate with other subject teachers and academic coordinators to ensure smooth integration of the curriculum.

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops.

Help plan school events, Hindi Day celebrations, and language competitions.
6. Student Support and Mentoring

Provide extra help to students who need additional support in learning Hindi.

Motivate students to develop confidence and interest in the subject.

Identify learning difficulties and offer tailored strategies to help students improve.
7. Use of Technology

Integrate the use of digital tools, smart boards, audio resources, and online learning platforms (if applicable).
