Job Description
We are looking for an experienced cloud engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.
- Degree in computer science or a similar field.
- Experience with CI/CD systems.
- Experience with SysOps.
- Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred.
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Client management skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation:

Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using best practices.

Deploy cloud-based resources and services such as virtual machines, databases, containers, and storage.

Set up and manage networking components such as VPCs, load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.

Automation & Configuration Management:
-
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Create CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the DevOps or development teams.

Monitoring, Performance, and Optimization:

Monitor cloud environments for availability, performance, cost, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or third-party solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.

Optimize cloud costs by analyzing usage patterns and recommending improvements.

Security & Compliance:

Implement and manage security controls such as IAM roles, policies, encryption, and network segmentation.

Ensure cloud environments meet compliance standards such as ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific regulations.

Regularly assess risks and apply patches and updates to keep systems secure.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with developers and IT teams to support application deployment and infrastructure needs.

Assist in cloud migration projects, including planning, execution, and validation.

Provide technical support, documentation, and training to internal teams.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain up-to-date documentation of cloud architecture, processes, configurations, and policies.

Generate reports on system performance, uptime, cost utilization, and security incidents.

Stay current with new cloud technologies and industry trends, and recommend enhancements where applicable.
