Volkswagen is hiring for Sales Manager for premium 4-wheeler dealerships

Experience: 2–6 years in auto retail, target-driven

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership and Target Achievement

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales consultants/executives to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to premium car buyers.

  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching and guidance to improve results.

  • Analyze sales reports and market trends to forecast demand and optimize inventory.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure every customer receives an exceptional showroom experience that reflects the brand’s prestige.

  • Handle key customers, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and corporate clients directly.

  • Build long-term relationships with customers through personalized engagement and after-sales follow-ups.

  • Oversee test drives, negotiations, and deal finalizations while ensuring a smooth buying process.

3. Team Development and Training

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales executives to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.

  • Conduct regular workshops on luxury car selling techniques, brand positioning, and customer engagement.

  • Foster a culture of professionalism, discipline, and accountability within the sales team.

4. Business Development and Market Expansion

  • Identify new business opportunities, including corporate tie-ups, fleet sales, and influencer referrals.

  • Develop strategies to attract high-value clients through events, roadshows, exhibitions, and digital platforms.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns aligned with premium brand positioning.

5. Inventory and Operations Management

  • Work with the operations and logistics team to ensure availability of required car models and variants.

  • Monitor stock levels, delivery schedules, and order fulfillment to avoid delays.

  • Coordinate with the manufacturer’s representatives for product updates, new launches, and promotions.

6. Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies, including ethical selling practices.

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer insights, and market competition.

  • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems for follow-up and retention.

7. Customer Experience Enhancement

  • Ensure showroom ambiance and service standards meet the expectations of premium clientele.
