Job Description
We are looking for energetic ground staff to be responsible for administrative duties and communication with passengers. Your duties will include welcoming passengers, providing information, assisting passengers who are disabled or are traveling with small children, checking in luggage, taking reservations, and selling tickets. You should be able to promptly resolve passenger queries and ensure that all passengers are satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including verifying tickets, handling boarding passes, and ensuring correct documentation is in place.

Provide information to passengers regarding flight schedules, gate information, delays, cancellations, and other general inquiries.

Assist passengers with special requirements, such as unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, and passengers with disabilities.

Baggage Handling:

Ensure that passenger baggage is checked, sorted, and loaded onto the correct flights in a timely manner.

Handle lost, damaged, or delayed baggage inquiries and ensure a smooth process for retrieving or compensating for luggage issues.

Operate baggage handling equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of luggage to and from the aircraft.

Flight Coordination:

Collaborate with the airline crew to ensure smooth boarding procedures, and assist in the boarding process by guiding passengers to the correct gates or seats.

Monitor the status of incoming and outgoing flights and assist in ensuring all required preparations for aircraft arrival and departure are completed.

Ensure that boarding is conducted in an orderly and efficient manner, following airline policies and safety protocols.

Aircraft Preparation:

Ensure the aircraft is ready for departure by assisting with fueling, catering, and other pre-flight requirements.

Perform checks on aircraft cleanliness, ensuring that the interior is free of debris and that all required equipment is stocked.

Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that items are properly secured and in compliance with safety regulations.

Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and the airport environment by adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Assist in emergency evacuation drills and safety demonstrations as required.

Verify passenger identification and tickets during check-in and assist with seat assignments.

Issue boarding passes and baggage tags, ensuring the correct weight and dimensions of baggage.

Handling Customer Complaints:

Address and resolve customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries professionally and courteously.

Ensure that any complaints are escalated to higher-level supervisors or managers if necessary.

Ground Equipment Operation:

Operate various ground support equipment such as tugs, baggage carts, air bridges, and other machinery to assist in aircraft servicing and passenger transport.

Coordination with Other Departments:

Work closely with airline, airport, and ground service teams to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
