Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented mortgage loan officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the loan application process, from determining the client’s needs to recommending the right loan product and signing the contract. You should also be able to identify possible risks in the application process.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation & Loan Advisory
Meet with potential borrowers to understand their financial situation and loan requirements.
Explain different mortgage products, interest rates, repayment terms, and eligibility criteria.
Assess customers’ financial documents to determine loan eligibility.
2. Loan Processing & Documentation
Collect and verify necessary documents (income proof, credit reports, tax records, etc.).
Assist clients in completing loan applications and ensuring accuracy.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and bank policies, including KYC and credit verification.
3. Sales & Lead Generation
Generate leads through networking, referrals, and marketing strategies.
Work with real estate agents, builders, and financial advisors to source clients.
Follow up with potential customers and convert leads into mortgage approvals.
4. Financial Analysis & Risk Assessment
Analyze clients' creditworthiness and debt-to-income ratio to evaluate loan risks.
Coordinate with underwriting teams to ensure smooth loan approvals.
Suggest alternative financing options if clients don’t qualify for standard mortgage loans.
5. Customer Support & Relationship Management
Guide clients throughout the loan approval process and address any concerns.
Maintain regular contact with borrowers to ensure timely processing of their loans.
Provide after-loan services such as refinancing and loan restructuring advice.
