Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring safe and effective drug usage within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately

• Review prescriptions for errors, interactions, and proper dosage

• Maintain stock of medicines and medical supplies

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and expiry monitoring

• Advise doctors and nurses on drug usage and dosage

• Keep records of all drugs used and inventory consumed

• Handle billing and documentation related to pharmacy operations

• Maintain hygiene and regulatory standards in the pharmacy

• Stay updated with new medications and drug regulations

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and therapeutic uses.
Familiarity with pharmacy inventory software and electronic medical records (EMR).
Understanding of regulatory standards (NABH, ISO, or JCI) related to medication management.

Soft Skills:

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in medication handling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ethical, professional, and patient-focused mindset.
