Dispense prescribed medications accurately and timely.
Interpret prescriptions and ensure correct dosages and administration methods.
Counsel patients and caregivers regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage.
Monitor patient drug therapies for interactions, contraindications, and effectiveness.
Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
Comply with hospital policies, legal, and ethical pharmaceutical standards.
Participate in audits, inspections, and quality control checks.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of medications.
Dispose of expired and unused medications safely as per protocol.
Support emergency services with urgent medication dispensing.
