Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated, experienced, and service-oriented Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for managing staff, controlling budgets, ensuring quality standards, and handling guest relations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel operations, leadership, customer service, and hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management

Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and guest services.

Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the property and address any operational challenges.

Monitor departmental performance and ensure SOPs are followed.

Supervise staff shifts, scheduling, and inter-departmental coordination.
2. Guest Relations
-
Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring prompt, courteous, and professional service.

Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Implement strategies to improve guest ratings, reviews, and overall experience.

Promote customer loyalty and return business.
3. Staff Management

Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff in various departments.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action when needed.

Ensure team members are motivated, well-groomed, and trained in customer service.

Foster a positive and professional work environment.
4. Financial Management

Monitor operational expenses and revenues to meet profitability targets.

Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.

Authorize purchases and negotiate with vendors and service providers.

Review financial reports and implement cost-effective measures.
5. Sales & Marketing

Collaborate with the sales team to promote the hotel and increase bookings.

Develop and implement strategies for corporate tie-ups, events, and group bookings.

Monitor online travel portals (OTAs) and respond to reviews and inquiries.

Work with digital teams to maintain the hotel’s online reputation and presence.
6. Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and fire regulations.

Maintain licensing, permits, and government compliance documentation.

Conduct regular audits and quality checks across all departments.

Implement sustainability and energy-efficient practices where possible.
