Need to keep the school campus clean and take care of the children aged 2.5yeasr to 5.5years
Duties:
• To be responsible for maintaining the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the premises.
• Ensuring the regular cleaning of resources, equipment and messy play activities including sweeping and mopping
• Ensuring regular cleaning of furniture, kitchen and children's bathroom areas
• Maintaining sufficient supplies of domestic consumables e.g. paper towels, toilet rolls, liquid
soap, cleaning materials etc.
• Ensure the outside area is kept clean and tidy, washing down toys as required.
• Preparing and assisting with the setting up of activities both inside and outside.
• To carry out physical duties required during housekeeping including moving and handling
operations.
• Support staff with managing children getting ready for outside play and going home
(assisting with coats, wellies etc.).
• Carrying out laundry duties, snack and preparing the rooms for lunch
• Stacking and unstacking dishwasher, washing up and maintaining kitchen area.
• To ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to including working with
hazardous substances.
• To work as part of a team and contribute positively to that staff team.
• To ensure that all information relating to Springfield Bees, its operation, children, staff and
parents remains confidential.
• To go about your duties with a positive and enthusiastic attitude - to be confident,
hardworking and conscientious, and at all times promote good practice.
• To promote at all times good relations between staff members, parents and children, and at
all times promote the good name and ethos of Springfield Bees Pre-School.
• To cover any other reasonable responsibilities as appropriate, at the request of the
Manager or Senior Staff.
• To promote the setting to current parents and potential customers.
