Position: Housekeeper
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, order, and hygiene in assigned areas. The ideal candidate should have experience in housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing spaces efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Change and replace linens, towels, and toiletries in guest rooms or designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
2. Organization & Inventory Management:
- Ensure that all rooms and areas are tidy and well-organized.
- Maintain and track cleaning supplies, linens, and restocking needs.
- Report damages, maintenance issues, or repair needs to the management.
3. Hygiene & Safety Compliance:
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Dispose of waste and hazardous materials properly.
4. Guest & Customer Service (If Applicable):
- Assist guests, employees, or residents with housekeeping-related requests.
- Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for visitors.
- Respect privacy and confidentiality while cleaning occupied spaces.
Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- No formal education required, but a high school diploma is a plus.
- Basic housekeeping or hospitality training is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and long hours of standing.
