Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and organizing rooms while ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction. You will play a key role in keeping the transit house hygienic, tidy, and guest-ready at all times.
This role is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, organized, and passionate about providing a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cleaning & Room Maintenance

Clean, dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum rooms, common areas, and corridors.

Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are neat, hygienic, and well-arranged.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, washbasins, and toilets.

Replenish toiletries, towels, and other amenities as required.
2. Guest Comfort & Satisfaction

Ensure rooms are prepared to welcome guests on time.

Check that rooms meet company cleanliness and comfort standards.

Provide assistance to guests when required and respond promptly to their requests.

Maintain a polite, professional, and helpful attitude at all times.
3. Linen & Laundry Management

Manage linen, towels, and laundry items properly.

Report any damages or shortages in linens and arrange for replacements.

Ensure clean linens are always stocked and ready for guest use.
4. Reporting & Coordination

Report maintenance issues such as leaks, electrical problems, or damaged furniture to the supervisor immediately.

Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain accurate records of room cleaning and inventory usage.
5. Hygiene & Safety Standards

Follow proper cleaning methods and use cleaning materials safely.

Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety guidelines.

Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.

Use disinfectants and sanitizers to keep the property germ-free.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications
-
No formal education required; basic reading and writing skills preferred.
Experience
-
Prior experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or room attendant preferred but not mandatory.

Freshers are welcome and training will be provided.
Skills & Attributes

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, housekeeping standards, and hygiene practices.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physically fit and able to lift, move, and carry items when required.
