Position Overview
We are looking for a diligent and reliable Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our properties. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the property—both public and private spaces—are consistently clean, sanitary, and presentable to the highest standards. You will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents, guests, or clients, and play an essential role in the upkeep of our facilities.
This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive attitude. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and demonstrate professionalism and discretion in all aspects of their work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean and tidy all rooms and common areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lobbies, corridors, stairways, and exterior spaces as needed.

Perform deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing floors, washing windows, polishing fixtures, and cleaning appliances.

Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and sanitize surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.

Empty trash bins and replace liners; remove waste materials in compliance with property guidelines.
2. Linen & Laundry Management
-
Change bed linens, pillowcases, and towels; ensure clean and properly folded replacements are supplied.

Launder, dry, and iron linen and other fabric items when required.

Monitor linen and laundry supply levels and report shortages or reorder needs to the supervisor.
3. Property Readiness & Presentation
-
Ensure rooms and common spaces are properly stocked with necessary supplies (toiletries, tissues, cleaning materials, etc.).

Report any damage, maintenance issues, or missing items to the maintenance or management team immediately.

Maintain an organized and clutter-free environment in all service areas and storage spaces.

Prepare rooms or units for new arrivals by following standardized cleaning and presentation procedures.
4. Health, Safety & Sanitation

Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations and company protocols.

Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and supplies safely, following instructions and safety guidelines.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Ensure that cleaning tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and stored properly after use.
5. Communication & Coordination
-
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding task completion, guest requests, and any challenges faced.

Collaborate with maintenance, front desk, or property staff to coordinate services for guests or residents.

Respond promptly and politely to resident or guest requests related to housekeeping.
Required Skills and Qualifications
-
Proven experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or room attendant in residential, hospitality, or commercial environments.

Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently and efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Basic understanding of cleaning products and equipment.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Good organizational skills to maintain supplies and manage assigned duties.

Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy and property.
