Job Description

Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years' experience working as a Housekeeper, Room Boy, or Room Attendant in reputed 3-star or 4-starhotels, with fluency in English being a mandatory.. Candidate must have Supporting documents, such as Hotel ID, experience certificates, PP copy, educational qualifications, or relevant certifications (if available)

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, doors, windows, and walls in designated areas.

  • Dust furniture, fittings, and fixtures.

  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and wipe tiles or other surfaces.

  • Disinfect high-touch areas regularly, such as doorknobs, switches, railings, and handles.

Room & Restroom Cleaning

  • Clean and restock bathrooms with toiletries, towels, toilet paper, and other essentials.

  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.

  • Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, faucets, or equipment) to the supervisor.

  • Assist in preparing rooms or areas for use by cleaning and organizing the space efficiently.

Inventory and Supplies

  • Monitor cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when stock needs to be replenished.

  • Use cleaning materials and equipment responsibly to avoid waste or damage.

  • Follow instructions on the safe usage of chemicals and cleaning products.

Hygiene and Safety

  • Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety regulations.

  • Wear protective gear such as gloves, masks, and uniforms as required.

  • Follow the company’s cleaning checklists and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

  • Ensure safety signage is displayed appropriately during cleaning activities.

Support & Teamwork

  • Assist other housekeeping staff during busy times or for special cleaning tasks.

  • Cooperate with colleagues across departments to maintain smooth operations.

  • Help with moving light furniture, supplies, or documents when requested.

  • Respond to urgent cleaning requests (e.g., spills, broken items, or restocking).
