Housekeeping Associate
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas.
Key duties include making beds, replacing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, restocking amenities, and reporting any maintenance issues. The role requires adherence to safety and cleanliness standards while ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for guests.
Candidates should be physically fit, reliable, and possess a positive, service-focused attitude. Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning Duties

Clean and sanitize all assigned areas including offices, corridors, restrooms, reception, meeting rooms, and common areas.

Dust furniture, windows, workstations, display racks, and fixtures.

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.

Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage properly.
2. Restroom & Pantry Maintenance

Refill toilet supplies such as tissue, soap, and hand sanitizers.

Clean toilets, sinks, mirrors, and tiles thoroughly and frequently.

Ensure pantry/kitchenette is clean and stocked with drinking water, tea, coffee, and other essentials.

Wash dishes or cups used by office staff.
3. General Upkeep

Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in entrances, lobbies, stairways, and elevators.

Report any maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, electrical, leaks) to the supervisor.

Rearrange furniture or equipment if required during meetings or events.

Support with moving packages or cleaning after office events.
4. Safety & Hygiene Compliance

Follow health and safety standards and guidelines while cleaning.

Wear gloves, mask, and uniform as per safety requirements.

Use appropriate cleaning materials and tools for various surfaces and areas.
